Kazakhstan Hygiene Certificate

Some goods and products may require a Hygiene Certificate as well a CoC. In the petrochemical industry, these can include various chemicals and uniforms that have direct contact with human skin.
Hygiene certificates are issued by SES which is a subdivision of the Healthcare Agency of RoK responsible for activities related to the sanitary regulations and labor protection. Certificates are issued at the Federal or the Regional level.
For chemicals considered hazardous, a material safety data sheet and Hygiene Certificate in Russian and English languages must accompany each chemical. These documents are used for chemical classification. RoK government officials may demand other licenses or certificates e.g. some specific chemical substances require an import license. A Hygiene Certificate for hazardous chemicals can only be issued by the Federal authorities. Vendor should consult relevant authorities through its Agency. (See Paragraph 9.1)
Hygiene certificates are issued for a specific time period depending on the type of chemicals. Some products must be re-certified after one or more years. Some radioactive substances must be certified for conformity to a safety range as identified by RoK
laws.
